Known for their powerful big-band sound and uplifting live shows, the 9-piece collective fuse global grooves with UK jazz finesse, percussive fire and deep, infectious rhythm.

Following their acclaimed collaborations with musical icons including Nile Rogers, Tony Allen, Seun Kuti and Fatoumata Diawara, the band continue to push boundaries  uniting cultures, generations and genres through music that celebrates connection, freedom and groove.

Formed in Leeds and now one of the UK’s most respected live acts, Nubiyan Twist have earned MOBO and AIM Award nominations, sold-out tours and praise from NPR, Rolling Stone, Jazzwise and Bandcamp Daily.

Panedeni are a cross-cultural ensemble whose name blends the Welsh word paned (a cup of tea) with Adeni tea from Yemen — symbolising collaboration and shared culture. The group celebrates under-represented voices in Wales, bringing lived experiences to the forefront of their musical performances. Fronted by vocalist and composer Yasmine Latkowski, Panedeni blends Arabic, Welsh, and English musical influences into an acoustic, folk-fusion sound.

Their forthcoming EP, Atamanaa (19 June 2026, Sionci / Tŷ  Cerdd), features collaborations with Sion Rickard and Ayoub Boukhalfa, and includes oud, guitar, violin, clarinet, flutes, Egyptian percussion, bass, and vocals. Sung in four languages, the record combines traditional repertoire with original compositions, exploring rhythmic and melodic elements from both Middle Eastern and Celtic traditions.

The project reflects Panedeni’s commitment to cross-cultural collaboration, musical dialogue, and inclusivity, creating work that brings together distinct musical heritages while celebrating shared creativity. Fans of folk-fusion and acoustic global-fusion, such as Bab L’ Bluz, Imarhan and The Turbans, may find a familiar appeal in Panedeni’s sound.
