Ethos and Sustainability Projects

The Llangollen Fringe Festival's central ethos is to promote the concept of sustainability: culturally, socially, economically and environmentally. This is expressed both in the festival itself and in the activities and projects which it supports (through funding, promotion or association).

How this ethos is expressed will develop over time, but it may incorporate, for example, lending support to local food producers, Fairtrade and ecological projects, local community and arts groups, including those with an emphasis on Welsh and youth culture, and projects promoting understanding and inclusion, including inter-faith dialogue.
