Where else in the world could you see Female Choirs, Male Choirs, Barbershop Choruses, Choreographed Folk Dance and Songs from the Shows all in one day? Enjoy music, dance, acrobatics, magic, workshops and crafts plus costumed folk performers singing and dancing on the outdoor stages with at 6pm the Llangollen Fringe sponsored Bedouin Jerry Can Band.
This extraordinary group of semi-nomadic Bedouins from the Sinai perform Bedouin Sufi and Rabba folk songs on the traditional 5 string Simsimiya, Magroona (reed pipe) and Rabba (1 string wolf fiddle) - and an assortment of scavenged percussion including jerry cans and ammunition boxes.
