Kissmet are at the forefront of the British Asian fusion scene. The band, who are half Indian and half English, fuse the cultural traditions of both.
They combine elements of bhangra, raags, rock and funk to create a truly unique blend of grassroots Anglo-Indian music. Fronted by Sikh brothers, the band perform in Punjabi, Hindi and English and blend dohl drums, tablas, guitar, keys and vocals.
Past performances include Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, Whitby Musicport Festival, Summer Sundae, Small Nations Festival and more.
