The Llangollen Fringe Festival
Festival Sponsored by Acton Financial Management

The Llangollen Fringe Festival 2008 has come to an end for another year. We had a great line up of music including the acoustic roots duo Show of Hands, Asian fusion with Kissmet, rising folk stars Wheeler Street and the return of Cerys Matthews.

There where 4 nights of stand up comedy in the Town hall plus 3 more nights of comedy in the Fringe Club at The Hand Hotel. The Fringe Family Day included a Railway trip to Carog, children's author Cat Weatherill and storyteller Fiona Collins plus two shows in the Town Hall – poet and perfomer Paul Cookson & Comedian Keith Donnelly.

As well as our main venue, the Town Hall, this years Fringe Festival will be took place in a number of other places around Llangollen. Follow the link for a handy venues map and find out where.

As well as attracting visitors from all over the UK, the Fringe continues to grow its local following and is achieving its aim to become “the festival for the town in the town” – thanks to everyone in our audience.

The Fringe is a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers and only receives limited public funding, so a big thank-you to all who help in whatever way.
